Greater Dallas Choral Society to perform with the Dallas Opera (TDO)

DALLAS, TEXAS (Tuesday, June 14, 2022) – The Greater Dallas Choral Society has been invited to perform in TDO’s production of Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel for the opera’s 65th Anniversary Season. The children’s chorus will be prepared by Kimberley Ahrens, GDCS Artistic Director, and Terrie Preskitt-Brown, GDCS Principal Conductor. The production will be under the musical direction of Emmanuel Villaume. Performance will take place at the Winspear Opera House located in the arts district of downtown Dallas. Performances are scheduled for October 28 and 30, and November 3 and 5, 2022. Tickets go on sale August 1, 2022.
