Claire Worrall, Executive Director

Claire Worrall assumed GDCS’s administrative leadership in June 2025, after serving as General Manager (2024–25) and Chorus Manager (2022–24). Having worked with the organization since its founding, Worrall has contributed to and helped steward GDCS’s dynamic expansion over the past four years, including a 30% increase in program enrollment, the introduction of new community education and outreach initiatives, and significant growth in earned and contributed revenues.

Worrall has more than 10 years’ experience in the fields of music and music education. From 2019 to 2022, she was an assistant conductor with the Treble Youth Chorus of the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas, where she also worked as Chorus Librarian. From 2014 to 2021, she taught choir and AP Music Theory in Dallas County’s Richardson Independent School District. Additionally, she has taught private voice lessons and performed with Dallas-area ensembles Orpheus Chamber Singers, Dallas Bach Society, Verdigris Ensemble, American Baroque Opera Co., Incarnatus, and Band of Voices. She received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from University of Texas at Austin, and earned a Master of Music in Historical Performance from the Early Music Institute at Indiana University.
